If traveling by car, you can park at:

This is 5 minutes walk from the church. This car park will be closed after the ceremony.

Alternatively, we would suggest parking at:

• Culver Street Car Park, Culver St, Salisbury, SP1 2BQ (24hr car park)

RECEPTION

The drive to Winchester Guildhall from Salisbury is normally around 40-45 minutes. Traffic on a Christmas Market Saturday is sure to be busy so please check your route before you set off.

Please be aware that there is no parking at the Guildhall Winchester.

The venue is in the town centre, however public parking is likely to be busy due to the festive season.

With that in mind, we have posted some parking suggestions below:

• Chisel Street Multi Storey Car Park, Barfield Close, SO23 0HU

• Colebrook Street Car Park, Colebrook St, SO23 3SD

• Middle Brook Street Car Park, Lower Brook St, SO23 8ED
  

Alternatively, if booking accomodation, we would recommend choosing a place to stay in Winchester for the night of the wedding that has parking. See accommodation suggestions below.

We are considering hiring a coach (depending on interest) to take guests from Salisbury after the ceremony to the reception in Winchester, returning to Salisbury at the end of the night. It would arrive back around 00:30. 

If this is a travel option you would make use of, please let us know in your RSVP by the end of August to ensure we are able to book the coach in good time.

St Osmund’s Church is about 15 minute walk away from Salisbury Train Station. 

For the Reception, there are regular trains from Salisbury to Winchester, though you have to change at either Basingstoke or Southampton. The reception at the Guildhall is about 10-15 minutes walk from Winchester Train Station. The last train back to London Waterloo from Winchester on a Saturday tends to be around 2320 hours.

For our international guests, the most convenient airports are London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW).

From these, you can take a train to Salisbury. But let us know in advance your travel plans and day of arrival and we’ll try and arrange for someone to pick you up.
